A. Isaiah 53:6 - "We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way."

B. James 1:14-15 - "But each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death."

III. The High Cost of Sin

B. Galatians 5:19-21 - "The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."

C. Highlight the serious consequences of sin and the separation it causes between humanity and God.

B. Ephesians 1:7 - "In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace."

C. Share the message of hope and redemption through Christ's sacrifice and the forgiveness available to all who repent.

V. Overcoming Sin through the Holy Spirit

A. Romans 8:13 - "For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit, you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live."

B. Galatians 5:16 - "So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh."

C. Encourage the congregation to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome sin and walk in obedience to God.

VI. Embracing God's Grace and Restoration
